The bar chart how much leisure time per week was enjoyed by males and females of five categories of employment status in 1998-1999.
Overall, men enjoyed hours of free time per week than women in three of the categories. However, in two categories only figures for are shown – employed part-time and housewives.
Among the full-time employed, men had more leisure time than women, with almost hours per week, compared with 40 hours for women.
