Q1: Is safety important to you?

High Band Yes, I think it is important to prioritize my safety. I believe that it is crucial to avoid any permanent or long-term injuries and ensure that my life is not endangered. Hence, my family members and friends would not have to worry much about me.

Q2: How do you stay safe?

High Band I keep myself safe by avoiding dark and secluded places or streets late at night. When I have to go out late in the night, I will ask my friend or family member to accompany me, especially when I’m headed to an area that is less crowded.

Q3: Who taught you how to stay safe?

High Band My parents and teachers taught me safety skills when I was young. At home, my parents would always remind me of things that can be dangerous or life-threatening. At school, my teachers taught me how to protect myself and how to ask for help if something bad were to happen.

Q4: Who do you think should teach children about safety?

High Band Personally, I think that parents play the biggest role in teaching their children about safety. They should educate their children about good practices to stay safe, such as looking out for cars before crossing the road, or to avoid playing on the road even if there are no cars.
