Prefer + Danh từ

Công thức Prefer + Danh từ 1 + To + Danh từ 2 (không dùng than nhé)

Ví dụ 1: I prefer football to badminton.

Sau prefer có thể là V_ing hoặc to Verb

Ví dụ 2: I prefer go swimming than hiking

Ví dụ 3: I prefer to read newspaper to magazines

Would prefer: Thích hơn (dùng để nói về hiện tại hoặc tương lai)

Dạng tắt: would prefer (‘d prefer)

Công thức: Would prefer + to Verb

Ví dụ 4: She would prefer stay at home.

Phủ định: Would prefer + not+ to Verb

Ví dụ 5: I would prefer not to study all day.

Khi bạn dùng Would Prefer mà muốn so sánh với thứ/điều khác ta dùng:

Would prefer + to verb + rather than + Verb without to

Ví dụ 6: I would prefer to go swimming rathe than play chess.

Khi muốn diễn đạt thích ai đó làm gì ta dùng cấu trúc

Would prefer + somebody+ to Verb

Ví dụ 7: She ‘d prefer me to play with her.
