IELTS Speaking Practice: Your Daily Routine

Your Daily Routine

Speaking Part

Q1: Can you describe your daily routine?

As a diligent student, my daily routine is pretty packed. I usually wake up at 6 a.m., freshen up, and get ready for my day. After having breakfast, I attend my morning classes. I like to use my afternoon for self-studying or working on assignments. I usually wind down in the evening by either reading a book or watching a movie.

• Wind down → Thư giãn

Q2: What is the busiest part of your day?

I would say the busiest part of my day would be the afternoon. This is when I dedicate my time to self-study, doing assignments, or participating in extracurricular activities. It requires a high level of concentration and effort.

• Dedicate → Dành (thời gian, công sức)

• Extracurricular activities → Các hoạt động ngoại khóa

• Concentration → Sự tập trung

Q3: Are there any changes you would like to make to your daily routine?

Yes, there are a few tweaks I would like to make. I find that I often procrastinate in the evening, which delays my bedtime and disrupts my sleep cycle. I'd like to improve my time management skills to avoid this habit.

• Procrastinate → Trì hoãn
