2. Phân tích Bài đọc / Bài luận mẫu (Passage Analysis)
Paragraph 1: Genres and Technology
Films are a popular form of entertainment loved by many. There are several genres… such as action, sci-fi, and documentaries. Advances in filmmaking, particularly in the use of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and in more realistic makeup, have allowed film directors to make their creations more believable.
Paragraph 2: Success Factors and Blockbusters
Although many films are made yearly, not all become hits, as some factors may cause a film to succeed or flop. The storyline is important; award-winning films often have an original story, not something that has been rehashed. Big-budget films often have A-list actors. If a director can make all of these work, the chances are high that the film will possibly become a blockbuster.
Paragraph 3: Educational Value of Films
Filmmakers create documentaries to enlighten audiences on important issues, such as protecting the environment. Historical films are another way to educate people. Creators of such films often want to shed light on important past events so that audiences today become aware of what happened before.
Paragraph 4: Critics and Authenticity
Critics also look into the use of films for education. Sometimes directors add or subtract elements from historical events to add more “spice,” but these changes are rarely okay with historians as they alter the public’s perception of what occurred. Even for documentaries, critics may question the story angle. Viewers should still do their research before believing everything presented in the film.
