1. So sánh hơn (Comparatives)

• Cách dùng: So sánh hai đối tượng để diễn tả một đối tượng có mức độ hơn đối tượng kia.
• Công thức:
  • Tính từ ngắn: S + be + adj-er + than + N/Pronoun
    • Ví dụ: She is taller than her brother.
  • Tính từ dài: S + be + more + adj + than + N/Pronoun
    • Ví dụ: This book is more interesting than that one.

2. So sánh nhất (Superlatives)

• Cách dùng: So sánh một đối tượng với tất cả các đối tượng khác trong cùng nhóm để diễn tả đối tượng có mức độ cao nhất.
• Công thức:
  • Tính từ ngắn: S + be + the adj-est + N
    • Ví dụ: She is the tallest girl in the class.
  • Tính từ dài: S + be + the most + adj + N
    • Ví dụ: This is the most interesting book I have ever read.

3. So sánh bằng (Equality Comparisons)

• Cách dùng: Diễn tả hai đối tượng có mức độ ngang bằng nhau.
• Công thức:
  • S + be + as + adj + as + N/Pronoun
    • Ví dụ: She is as tall as her brother.
