Uses idiom/collocations: Through thick and thin, Kindred spirit, Inseparable, Confide in.
Uses past perfect & conditionals: “Had it not been for our chance encounter…”, “We have known each other since…”.
Smooth narrative transitions: “Going back to when we first met”, “What really sets her apart”, “Fast forward to today”.
Tri Duc English Exam Tips
Use “Personality” Adjectives
Đừng chỉ nói họ “nice”. Hãy dùng: **easy-going, ambitious, witty, compassionate, dependable**. Điều này giúp tăng điểm Lexical Resource rõ rệt.
Show, Don’t Just Tell
Thay vì nói “She is helpful”, hãy kể một câu chuyện ngắn: “Whenever I’m under the weather, she always drops by with some soup.”
Focus on Shared Hobbies
Để kéo dài bài nói, hãy miêu tả chi tiết một hoạt động chung: ví dụ cùng nhau đi cafe (**coffee hopping**) hoặc cùng học (**cramming for exams**).
The “Time” Tense Mix
Kết hợp linh hoạt các thì: Quá khứ đơn (lúc gặp), Hiện tại hoàn thành (đã chơi bao lâu) và Hiện tại đơn (tính cách/hoạt động bây giờ).
